    Training of trainers on Emergency Preparedness for Child Care Programs.

    Children and families count on child care providers to be prepared when disasters strike. Help child care providers take action with this training of trainers opportunity. 

    This virtual training features a variety of instructional approaches, including small group discussions and interactive simulations covering a variety of threats and challenges including natural disasters, infrastructure failure, utility disruptions, and human threats. 

    Training participants will receive a trainer guide, PowerPoint slides, and supplemental resources to provide the training to child care providers in the community or state (state trainer/training approval processes should be followed). 

    This course takes about 6 hours total through live virtual instruction. It will take place from 1:00-4:00 p.m. ET each day. Attendance is required for both sessions to complete the session.
